Pleasant walk to discover a wild valley where you can find one of the most beautiful examples of pre-Roman bridges, immersed in the lava domes of the Ceriti Mountains.
You will walk in an area rich in water and covered in thick woods of ancient oaks, holm oaks, Turkey oaks and cork oaks. An area populated by birds and wild animals, such as falcons and kites, or porcupines, not to mention, for example, wild boars, badgers and foxes.
You will enter deep cuts in the tuff, a sign of ancient itineraries linked to the birth of the first pre- and protohistoric settlements. Not far from the entrance square to the Banditaccia Necropolis you will discover the Great Orientalizing Tumuli with tombs from the 7th and 6th centuries. B.C. Along the way you will be able to admire the Ponte Vivo, one of the major canalization and drainage works known in the Cerite area.
You will arrive near Monte Vittoria "pre-Etruscan pagus" with the remains of dry stone walls and in the Monte Ercole area you will find traces of settlements on the summit, streets built into the slopes and Etruscan chamber tombs, partly destroyed.
