A trek for full immersion in the world of the Etruscans, where you can fully enjoy the naturalistic beauties of the Ceriti Mountains which dominate the city of Cerveteri.
A beautiful and pleasant shady route past waterfalls, fords and old ironworks.
We start from the Necropolis of Banditaccia in Cerveteri (UNESCO World Heritage Site) so we can discover the Etruscan area, including the famous Via degli Inferi, with a strong archaeological value due to the wealth of tombs and burial mounds on both sides.
We proceed into a wild valley, which leads all the way down to below the town of modern Cerveteri, called 'Valle del Manganello'.
Here we stand exactly at the boundary between the city of the dead and the city of the living.
Along the route we continue to discover numerous spectacular waterfalls, one more beautiful than the other: the Cascata dell'Arenile, the Braccio di Mare, the latter characterised by a wide basin, and the Cascata della Mola or Castel Giuliano, the highest.
