Located near Civitella Cesi, to the right of the municipal road leading from Blera to the hamlet of Civitella Cesi.
San Giovenale, a Bronze Age settlement (15th-10th centuries B.C.) and an important Etruscan centre, preserves the remains of houses from the Archaic period, 7th-6th centuries B.C., built of tufa blocks and covered with terracotta tiles.
On the plateau stand the ruins of the Di Vico Castle and the Church of San Giovenale, evidence of the partial reoccupation of the site in the Middle Ages before its total depopulation in the 15th century.
