On the main access road to the village of Barbarano, the Museum is the ideal gateway to the Protected Area and allows visitors to learn about and explore all the characteristics of the Marturanum Park.
BRIEF HISTORICAL NOTES VISITING PATH IN BRIEF DON'T MISS
The Park was established in 1984 and the Museum was opened to the public a few years later.
The Museum houses reproductions of animals, environments and monuments found in the Protected Area.
The reproduction of a tuffaceous gorge of the Park, the collection of specimens of the fauna of the Protected Area taxidermied or reproduced in fibreglass, the diorama of the tree and the aquarium of freshwater fish species.
