Luni sul Mignone, a Bronze Age site, preserves the remains of the "Apennine houses" and a large Proto-Villanovan hut.
Abandoned in the Iron Age between the 9th-8th centuries B.C., it flourished again in the Etruscan period and then slowly decayed until complete abandonment in the 14th century.
It is possible to visit the archaeological site on foot or by bicycle, not forgetting a stop at the Canalicchio and Luni fountains.
Also not to be missed is the scenery of the Mignone Valley with the bridge over the disused Civitavecchia Orte railway.
