"La Cardellina" is a family-run farm located in the wild and untouched territory of the Tolfa Mountains, in the picturesque setting of Southern Etruria.
Over the years, we have rediscovered abandoned gardens, reclaimed the natural spring and old water sources. The productions of Cardellina have deep roots in the century-old traditions of this area, and the seasonality of the products reflects nature’s own rhythm: open-field vegetables, fruits transformed into delicious jams perfect for breakfast, and, in recent years, an orchard entirely dedicated to ancient local varieties.
An organic chamomile field, a lavender patch, and a nearly perennial calendula flower meadow complete the colorful palette of our terraced lands.
The ancient farmers’ shelters have been restored into four cozy cottages, where you can spend carefree days immersed in rural life. Overlooking beautiful valleys and protected by centuries-old oak woods, they offer an unforgettable experience: sleeping at Cardellina means returning to Mother Earth.
Every moment at the agriturismo is a unique experience because it’s never the same, because in nature everything is possible, because it’s a sharing experience that evokes different emotions every time—simple and true.
We offer, in collaboration with expert friends who, like us, love the Earth: countryside snacks, picnics in the woods, summer evenings surrounded by fireflies, musical aperitifs among the oaks, “acquacotta” on the fire, wild herb tastings, forest therapy, workshops and environmental education for children, family days with fairy tales in the woods—basically, just follow us and see what nature... inspires!
